Expired name server issue?

I had a website with my preferred domain name PipeDreamequine  pointing to the site of my previous name, PipeDreamtraining. Currently my preferred name does not connect to original, though it used to. When I open the preferred domain’s nameservers, they say expired. How do I go about fixing this? Any thoughts? Thank you.
