Add SSL Certificate to my site

Hi, I am trying to add an SSL certificate to my domain name for my site. Domain name is hosted through Homestead. I have tried both the following FAQs:

1) https://community.homestead.com/conversations/websitebuilder/websitebuilder-ssl/5f2a9b3158180958845dab29 - when I enter my domain name in homesteadssl.com it says "Domain cant be verified as it doesn't exist on builder"

2) https://community.homestead.com/conversations/domain-support/websitebuilder-autossl-for-pointed-domains/5f2a9b1c58180958845b4148 - the domain name I am using isn't the pointed domain. I would make it the pointed domain, but not seeing an FAQ on how to make it the pointed domain so I can use the Activate SSL button.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

ok, thank you. So the instructions you would follow are actually different, since you're still using Sitebuilder Plus:
