HELP! Im trying to redirect my "home page" to a newly created page.

HELP! Im trying to redirect my "home page" to a newly created page. I followed instructions on a post about changing the index page, by deleting the old etc. Well now when I search and go to my website it says page not found. Please help me with a domain re-direct or something. I have all of my pages but don't know how to change what the web address is pointed to.
